Entering its 7th year in 2024, the Moreton Bay Business & Innovation Awards celebrate the outstanding achievements of Moreton Bay businesses and individuals.
EPIC Assist (EPIC) was proud to sponsor the Award for Accessibility and Inclusiveness Excellence for the third consecutive year.
EPIC works with many businesses across the Moreton Bay region through our sites at Strathpine, Caboolture, Redcliffe, Kallangur, and Bribie Island.

We were delighted that this new category was added in 2022 to highlight the importance of access and inclusion in our communities, and have been the sponsor of this award since its inception.
Moreton Bay Business & Innovation Awards are the region’s leading and premier awards program. The awards acknowledge the contribution of businesses and individuals to Moreton Bay’s economy and the region’s profile as a vibrant centre of innovation and enterprise, providing a pathway to national and international award programs.
The EPIC Assist Award for Accessibility and Inclusiveness Excellence recognises a business within the City of Moreton Bay that are advancing and have a strong commitment to adopting and promoting access and inclusion to improve the lives of people with disability, as part of their day-to-day business operations.
Nominations were sought from businesses who can demonstrate an active consideration and incorporation of the needs of people with disability in all areas of the organisation’s operations. This means ensuring that people with disability have equal access to employment, training and development, products and services, premises, communication and information communication technology.
Finalists for the EPIC Assist Award for Accessibility and Inclusiveness Excellence 2024 were:
- Trevena Glen Farm
- Belgravia Leisure (2023 winners of the award)
- Mountain Wine Tours
- Sunshine Home Support
- The Neurodiverse Safe Work Initiative
Leaders, employees, entrepreneurs, innovators, and community members came together for the event at Eatons Hill Hotel’s grand ballroom on Friday 18th October, which shone a light on their achievements.
EPIC Operations Manager Jill Nash was proud to present the award alongside Mayor Peter Flannery, to this year’s winner, Sunshine Home Support.
