Our Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube accounts exist to engage our customers and the wider community in conversations about inclusion and diversity.
We encourage the sharing of individual ideas and opinions to allow for free and open discussion on our social media channels, but we also want these to be places of respect, care and kindness. To provide the best atmosphere for everyone on our social media pages, we moderate all comments and activity.
Posts will be hidden or deleted and authors may be blocked from our social media pages if they contain:
- offensive, defamatory, threatening, harassing, bullying, discriminatory, hateful, racist, sexist, vulgar or otherwise unlawful content, links, or images, including profile pictures
- posts aimed at selling or promoting products or services
- posts that infringe on copyright
- repetitive posts by a single author
- other posts that EPIC deems inappropriate.
We operate on a three strike policy. We will be in contact with authors if their comments are a breach our policy. If we need to contact authors more than three times they will be blocked from our pages. We believe in the freedom of sharing your opinion and will ensure we have done everything in our power to ensure authors comments are taken seriously and will exhaust all options before blocking users.
The EPIC Assist brand is protected by trademark. We enforce the proper use of our intellectual property (IP), and will take appropriate action if we identify any page or account that infringes on the EPIC Assist trademark.
We understand that social media is a 24/7 medium, but our moderation capabilities are not. Our team is online 8:30am – 5:00pm Monday to Friday, and will respond to messages as quickly as we can. We may not see every comment immediately, and we trust our community to act responsibly in the event of negative online behaviour.
To protect your privacy please do not include information that identifies you in your public posts, for example your email address or phone number.
