Time to celebrate our 2017 graduates

Friday, 23 March 2018

EPIC Education Assist has much to celebrate, with two graduation ceremonies held in the past weeks for students who have completed their qualifications.

School Attending Trainees (SAT) from Outer North Brisbane attended a ceremony at the North Lakes Community Centre on 28th November.

The event was attended by local MP Luke Howarth, who has been working with us for the past 12 months with his passion for helping those in the community with disability. Mr Howarth addressed the students and spoke of having confidence in interaction with employers and encouraged the students to back their own abilities. Mark Willis, Treasurer from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIQ) was also in attendance to hand out the certificates.

EPIC Assist works in partnership with external Registered Training Organisations (RTO) to deliver qualifications in Horticultural Studies (CSTC), IT (Axiom College), Automotive (Workskills), Animal Studies (TAFE QLD) and Hospitality (HELP Training), while students achieved their Business and Retail qualifications through EPIC’s internal RTO, Education Assist.

SATs were placed in workplaces such as radio stations, hospital cafeterias, equestrian centres, pet stores, and retail chains such as Best and Less and Athletes Foot as part of their traineeships.

On Monday 11th December, a graduation was held at our Windsor office to celebrate students who had completed Certificate II in Retail Services, Certificate III in Retail Operations, Certificate II in Business or Certificate III in Business Administration through Education Assist. Students worked hard to overcome challenges and complete their qualifications.

Congratulations to all students for their achievements this year. We look forward to seeing what you will achieve next.
