We are pleased to congratulate Compass Group for winning the Employer of the Year Award at the 2017 National Disability Awards, held in Canberra.

The awards are a key part of the Australian Government’s celebration of International Day of People with Disability, and recognise the achievements of individuals, teams and organisation’s that help Australians with disability reach their potential.

Compass Group, Australia’s leading food services company, is committed to giving people with disability equal and sustainable employment.

Head of Diversity Projects for Compass Group Australia, Natasha Caflisch is thrilled to have won the award, and contributes much of their success to the support they have received from their community.

“The success of our disability employment program has been a real joint effort. We’d like to thank the families of our employees with disability and our clients for the support they have provided, as well as our existing employees for creating an inclusive workplace.”

We have been working in partnership with Compass Group for the past two and a half years, with 20 of our job seekers currently employed within the organisation.

Ella Cassidy and her father Dan travelled with Natasha to Canberra for the event. For Ella, who works at Compass Group’s  Lady Cilento Hospital cafe , the event was an exciting opportunity to celebrate the success of Compass Group.

“Ella was thrilled to receive the award, I think her smile on the night said it all!” stated EPIC Corporate Account Manager, Natalie Hall.

Natalie, who works closely with Compass Group, congratulates the organisation on their success and looks forward to the future opportunities which will be provided to people with disability through the partnership.

“I would like to say a big thank you to everyone who has supported our working relationship with Compass Group, our partnership will continue to grow within EPIC’s footprint” states Natalie.

Congratulations Compass Group. We look forward to the opportunities 2018 will bring.
