Jingle all the way! 2018 Participant Christmas Party wrap-up

Monday, 10 December 2018

The festive spirit was in the air at the 2018 Participant Christmas Party, held at Kedron-Wavell Services Club in Brisbane on Saturday 10 December.

The annual celebration is a highlight on the calendar for EPIC’s Brisbane-based participants, who gather with their family and EPIC staff for a day of laughter and carols. The event provides an opportunity to reflect on the year, share in each other’s achievements, and come together as a community.

Santa arrived with gifts in tow, most of which were generously donated by EPIC supporter June McNab and EPIC staff. The children excitedly unwrapped their presents, and everyone enjoyed getting their photo taken with old Saint Nick.

Santa’s visit was followed by a delicious lunch, face painting, and a Christmas carol singalong led by EPIC Education Assist trainee Anthony Deeb. A highlight of the day was the enthusiastic rendition of Joy to the World, guided by the vocals of Anthony, EPIC staff member Mitchell Nugent and EPIC participants Stephanie and Brent.

Thank you to everyone who attended and celebrated with us! We wish EPIC’s participants, employers, supporters and staff a safe and joyful holiday season.
