All About Living is an organisation that supports people with disability, the elderly, frail, and veterans. They are committed to supporting the accessibility needs of their staff with disability, and ensuring their workplace is comfortable and welcoming for everyone.

All About Living recently received an EPIC Community Grant to help them achieve this goal. Their first priority was purchasing an accessible telephone to assist their receptionist Shaun, who has cerebral palsy.

Chief Executive Officer David Worsnop says the phone has made a big difference in Shaun’s working day.

“All About Living is very grateful for EPIC’s support in the purchase of the disability accessible telephone,” says David.

“The telephone headset improves Shaun’s ability to function with both hands, keeping his strong hand free and able to attend to our busy reception. The specialised telephone equipment also improves audibility in comparison to a regular handset.”

All About Living has been helping their clients live safe, happy, and healthy lives in the comfort of your own home for over 25 years. They are passionate about ensuring all people have equal opportunities to lead a fulfilling life.

“It is vital that all people with a disability have access to employment opportunities, healthcare, education, transport, housing, and public buildings,” says David.

“We are determined to continue to ensure our participants with disability are able to access their community and be a valued, included member of society.”

Check out the All About Living website for more information, and the EPIC Assist website to apply for a grant today.
