With our help, Mary Ann has found her place in the world, studying a Certificate III in Home Care Services and finding paid employment.
Mary Ann first connected with our team in 2013. What followed were a number of positions in varying roles, which did not quite match Mary Ann’s skills and goals. Despite this, Mary Ann believes each job taught her valuable lessons and helped set her on the correct career path.
She reconnected with EPIC again in May 2015 and after some discussion, Mary Ann chose to study a Certificate III in Home Care Services.
Upon completion of the six-month course, Mary Ann was placed in a home support worker role with Aquamarine Personalised Home Care in December 2015, working an average of 30 hours per week with some overnight and long shift work.
“This is best life-changing thing that has ever happened to me. I absolutely love the job, the people and the company. The people behind the company are so lovely, supportive and caring to their staff. I feel blessed,” said Mary Ann.

Since hiring Mary Ann, Aquamarine has hired another EPIC job seeker, and plan to continue coming to us for future employees.
