The EPIC Community is bound by privacy legislation in the States in which EPIC operates and the Australian Privacy Principles (APP).
We take all reasonable steps to ensure protection against misuse, loss, unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure of personal information.
The EPIC Community collects and administers a wide variety of information, some of which is restricted in its distribution for commercial, privacy or ethical reasons. The information is collected in an open and transparent manner using lawful and unobtrusive means and ensure stakeholders are informed as to what information is collected and why, and how it will be administered.
The EPIC Community recognises the rights of individuals to access their information, raise a complaint and/or request that their information be updated. No one at EPIC is allowed to disclose to any member of the public any confidential information acquired through their involvement with the organisation.
The EPIC Community takes reasonable steps to ensure personal information is accurate, current, complete, and appropriately protected. We store personal and confidential information securely to protect it from unauthorised access, modifications, misuse, disclosure, or loss.
