Over the weekend, news circulated about the closure of Disability Employment Services (DES) providers across Australia and the end of Disability Employment Services (DES) contracts for other providers who have not met the Department’s requirements.
We want to reassure our job seekers, employers, and community partners that EPIC Assist (EPIC) is not one of the providers affected by these changes.
EPIC has been helping people with disability, injury, mental health and other health conditions find and maintain meaningful employment for over 30 years, and we will continue delivering DES throughout all of the areas we currently operate in.
Our personalised service and ongoing support is what sets EPIC apart from other DES providers.
Being a not-for-profit, we focus our efforts on improving the lives of people with disability through employment outcomes that match the skills and goals of our participants. We also work alongside employers to ensure their needs are met and the employment relationship between participant and employer is mutually beneficial.
If you know someone who has been affected by their DES provider closing, they can request a transfer to EPIC by calling the National Customer Service Line on 1300 854 414.
