Selected EPIC offices closed due to weather emergency

Wednesday, 2 March 2022

Edit (4th April 2022): All offices have reopened, except for Lismore. Lismore will continue to conduct appointments via phone or video conferencing where possible.

EPIC Assist (EPIC) wishes to inform our job seekers and employers that a selection of our offices in Queensland and New South Wales are closed due to the weather emergency.

From 8:30 am Monday 28th March, selected EPIC offices will move to tele-servicing our participants where possible. These appointments will be conducted via phone or video conferencing until further notice.

The offices impacted include:

  • Kyogle
  • Lismore
  • Ballina
  • Evans Head
  • Casino
  • Yamba

This is to ensure the health and wellbeing of our participants and staff as a result of the weather emergency and floods.

Some offices may remain closed to in-person meetings for an extended period of time. This will depend upon weather damage, power outages, and weather conditions. Your employment consultant will contact you if your appointment is affected by these changes.

Murwillumbah has reopened at a new address: Coolamon Cultural Centre, 5 Tumbulgum Road, Murwillumbah.

Though it may not quite be business as usual at the moment, we want to assure you that EPIC is open to serve our participants and employers and support them on their employment journey.

If you need to talk to someone about how the current situation is affecting you, we are here.

Please contact your local site or call 13 EPIC (3742) for further information.
