By connecting with EPIC while you’re still at school, you can prepare for the transition from school to employment.
Traineeships and apprenticeships
For those looking to get a head start in their career, we offer traineeships and apprenticeships. Traineeships and apprenticeships consist of 8 hours of paid work a week (usually during school hours), combined with the theory component related to the qualification. We typically offer traineeships and apprenticeships to Year 11 students, however Year 12 students may be eligible depending on your situation. To find out more, you can visit our traineeships and apprenticeships page.
Tutoring and mentoring
Our team can provide support and mentoring to assist you with your studies. Our tutors will contact you regularly to check in and answer any questions you have. One-on-one tutoring may also available for students who need additional support with their studies.
Ticket to Work
Transitioning from school to employment can be challenging. EPIC delivers the national Ticket to Work (TTW) program, which creates employment pathways for school students. EPIC Schools Consultants visit participating schools, and help students complete modules that will help them get job-ready. TTW helps build students’ confidence as they prepare for working life.
